Pectinase is the most commonly used enzyme in tea processing. The enzyme formulations produced by SPIC Biotechnology Division are tailor made to suit orthodox / CTC manufacturers and RC / Non RC teas. Pectinase is used to meet the manufacturers requirement of liquor characteristics and appearance of made tea.

Enzyme applied in rotorvane for CTC and in roller for orthodox to improve the appearance, infusion and liquor characteristics. Applicable both for RC / Non RC teas and estate / bought leaves.
